UNIPARQUE'S HISTORY

UNIPARQUE - Open Park-University of Iporanga is an initiative of the NGO Physis - Cultura & Ambiente, that, elaborated in 1996 its bolder project.

UNIPARQUE's mission is to make the services provided by the Park and by the population that live in near to it, more professional, guaranteeing, this way, a more ordered visitation and the conservation of the local ecosystems.

Since then, Physis has dedicated itself to form a specialized team, and to concentrate efforts in the direction of making this bold enterprise possible.

With the help of promoting events, donations given by many entrepreneurs and the activities developed by Physis it has already been possible to acquire the area where UNIPARQUE will be settled. The next step will be the construction of its buildings.
